For an oral-care brand, we prepared a 54 slide catalogue for print: bleed added programmatically, then every page rendered to an image and compared against the original. A layout that shifted during preparation is caught on screen, before it reaches the printer. The pipeline was built and run in one evening.

The challenge

Adding bleed, the extra margin a printer trims away, to a large slide deck shifts layouts silently. The error usually surfaces on the printed proof, when fixing it costs time and paper.

A print run of a brand catalogue is expensive and slow to redo. Finding a shifted layout after printing means paying for the run twice and missing the date it was needed for.
