For a teacher training non-profit, we built a bilingual certification platform: learners register by phone, watch modules, pass quizzes and submit assignments as text, audio or video, including recordings of themselves teaching. Each certificate is a bilingual PDF with a public verification link, so an employer can confirm it without contacting anyone.

Proof lives online, not in the file. Every certificate is verifiable at a public address, quiz answers are graded on the server so correct answers never reach the browser, and course videos and learner submissions sit in separate stores behind short lived signed links.
The challenge
Certificates issued as files can be edited, and an employer had no way to confirm one was genuine. Training also needed proof that a teacher can actually teach, not just pass a quiz.
Why it mattered
A certificate is only worth what an employer believes it is worth. Without verification the programme's credential carried little weight, and the trainees who earned it got less from it.
What we built
- Built phone based registration, module videos and auto graded quizzes.
- Added assignments submitted as text, audio or video, with an admin review queue to accept each one or ask for a redo.
- Generated bilingual certificate PDFs with correctly shaped Gujarati text, each carrying a public verification link.

How it works, day to day
Learners watch a module, answer the quiz and submit their assignment from a phone. Quizzes are graded on the server, an admin reviews recordings in one queue, and the certificate is issued once every module is complete.
Where it saves time, and gets better with use
- Employers verify certificates themselves at a public address, without contacting the programme.
- Every new learner is graded and certified by the same rules, so grading work does not grow with the cohort.
- A redo request carries a note the learner sees on their next visit, so each attempt builds on the last.
