A corporate site unifying four business verticals
Engineering group
For an engineering group with four separate businesses, we built one corporate site that tells a single group story and hands each visitor to the right business in one click. Built to load fast on a slow connection, it went from blank project to a complete site in a day.

Wrote one group narrative across four businesses, each thread...

Designed alternating light and dark full width sections

Added a particle hero that loads only once the page is idle
Content comes first by design. The decorative hero loads last and nothing a visitor needs to read or click depends on it, so even a slow phone gets the full story immediately.
The challenge
Four businesses shared a parent brand but had no shared story. A buyer landing on any one of them could not see the scale of the group behind it, or find the sister business that fit their need.
Why it mattered
For a group selling to industrial buyers, credibility is the sale. A fragmented web presence made an established group look like four small, unrelated firms, and sent visitors hunting for the right door.
What we built
- Wrote one group narrative across four businesses, each thread ending in a clear link out to that business's own site.
- Designed alternating light and dark full width sections, with eight video loops in place of stock photography.
- Added a particle hero that loads only once the page is idle, so the content arrives first.
The result
- One site that presents four businesses as a single established group.
- A clear path from the group story to each business's own site.
- Eight video loops showing the real work, not stock imagery.
- Static pages with no database to run or patch.
Built for trust
Content comes first by design. The decorative hero loads last and nothing a visitor needs to read or click depends on it, so even a slow phone gets the full story immediately.
AI at work
AI assistants and search engines are now a buyer's first researcher. The site describes the group, its four businesses, its locations and its services in a structured form those tools read directly, so the answer a buyer gets matches what the group says about itself.
What it produces
- a machine readable profile of the group
- service listings for each business
- page trails search engines follow
- answers AI assistants can quote
How it works, day to day
Each page carries a short structured description alongside the visible text. Search engines and AI assistants read it when they index the site, and the team edits the facts in one place when the business changes.
Where it saves time, and gets better with use
- A buyer who asks an AI assistant about the group gets its own facts, not a guess stitched together from four separate sites.
- Every new page inherits the same structured description, so the group profile grows with the site at no extra effort.
- The facts live in one place, so a changed address or service updates what search engines and assistants read everywhere at once.
The technology
- One story across four businesses
- Video loops instead of stock photography
- Fast on a slow connection
Technical notes
- Static generation throughout with no runtime database
- Deferred 3D hero, mounted on idle and lazily loaded
- Content security and transport security headers set at the framework level
Questions we get asked
- How long did the group site take to build?
- The project history shows the full site, from blank project to a complete multi page build with video and motion, built in a single day. Contact and address updates followed a week later.
- How do you present several businesses on one site without confusing visitors?
- One narrative for the group, with each business given its own section that ends in a single clear link to that business's own site. Visitors see the whole group, then choose their door.
- Does the animation slow the page down?
- No. The particle hero waits until the browser is idle before it loads, and the page is fully readable and usable without it.
