Prospicience built spin around product viewers and a password protected trade catalog for an oral care brand. Scripts turn a product rotation video into one self contained file with drag to spin and zoom, made in batches so every viewer matches. Sales shares them by email or folder, with no website and no designer time per product.

The challenge

Sales needed product views distributors could spin around and share as a single file, without a website and without designer time for every product in the range.

Why it mattered

Distributors judge a product by handling it, and flat photos cannot show that. Hand building an interactive view per product would have tied up designer time on every launch and let the range drift out of step.

What we built

  • Wrote scripts that turn a product rotation video, or photos at set angles, into a single web file with drag to spin, zoom and auto rotate.
  • Generated viewers in batches across the range so every one looks the same.
  • Built a password protected catalog for invited distributors, with categories, colours, specifications and the spin view.

  • A catalog of 21 products in 7 categories, open only to invited distributors.
  • Each viewer is one file of 2 to 8 MB that runs from an email, a drive or a shared folder.

Built for trust

Every viewer comes from the same script and is never edited by hand. Change the script, rebuild, and the whole range updates identically, so the catalog stays consistent however many products it grows to.

AI at work

When a product has no rotation video, AI helps create one from a few product photos, and a person checks it turns a true full circle before it becomes a viewer. Scripts do the rest, so a new product joins the catalog without designer time.

Can we show a 360 product view without building a website?
Yes. Each viewer is a single HTML file of two to eight megabytes that runs from a hard drive, an email attachment or a shared folder. No server, and nothing to log into.
How do you keep 21 product viewers consistent?
No viewer is edited by hand. They all come from the same script, so one change rebuilds every viewer the same way and the range never drifts apart.
What source material do you need?
A short rotation video of the product, or a set of photographs at regular angles. We have built it both ways.
