For our own business development trip, we built a self contained dossier application: a dashboard with metrics and a view of missing data, an opportunity pipeline, editable detail pages and an action board. It works with no connection, and exports a fresh standalone copy of itself carrying the current data.

## The challenge

Business development material lives across documents and inboxes, and none of it is available on a plane or in a meeting with no signal.

## Why it mattered

A trip is short and every meeting counts. Walking in without the numbers, the open questions or the next steps wastes the conversation the trip was planned around.

## What we built

- Built a dashboard with metrics, priorities and a view of what is missing.
- Built an opportunity pipeline with editable detail pages and an action board.
- Added an export that produces a fresh standalone copy carrying the current data.
- Converted incoming documents to text so AI could read them and update the dossier.

- Backup, import and print to PDF, plus a portable copy with the current data inside.

## Built for trust

Gaps are shown, not hidden. The missing data view lists which fields are still blank, so a half researched opportunity is never presented as a complete one.

## AI at work

Incoming documents are converted to text so AI can read them and update the opportunities, questions and next steps, while the missing data view shows exactly which facts are still blank. We decide what to pursue; AI keeps the record current.

What it produces: documents converted to readable text, updated opportunity records, a list of blank fields per opportunity, a portable offline copy with current data.

- A new document is read and filed against the right opportunity instead of waiting for someone to retype it.
- Each update builds on the last copy of the dossier, and the export carries it forward.
- Gaps are visible before a meeting, not discovered in it.

How it works day to day: New documents are converted to text and read, and the relevant opportunity is updated. We review the changes in the app, fill what is missing, and export a fresh standalone copy for the trip.
